Inspired by The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy, 42 Square reimagines the modern workplace as
an immersive journey through storytelling, culture, and collaboration.

Designed by Copperstone Interiors, the workspace draws its name from the iconic number “42” —
the answer to life, the universe, and everything — translating the novel’s imaginative world into a
series of distinct spatial experiences. While cosmic themes shape key destinations within the
office, the design is firmly grounded in Kerala’s architectural heritage through a central work
neighbourhood inspired by vernacular forms.

Teams are organized into spice-themed hubs, reflecting Kerala’s historic role in global trade and
celebrating people and talent as the new-age commodities of a connected world. Complemented
by historically themed meeting spaces, a curated library of artifacts, and a technology-driven
courtyard that recreates natural daylight, 42 Square seamlessly blends tradition, innovation, and
storytelling into a workplace that is both meaningful and memorable.
